Sunday 10th June- Ashton Court

The following weekend saw us have quite a quiet weekend - allotment jobs to catch up with mainly. Nothing seems to be growing apart from the weeds :(

We did have a stroll in Ashton Court which was good apart from the traffic approaching it (had forgotten it was Race for Life) and the traffic passing through it (did not know there was a MTB event on) What would have been nice would have been a warning about the impact of the MTB event on the walking /footpath situation before we'd headed off walking. We had a nice stroll anyhow - the children gassed allot and found a few geocaches and the adults moaned about hayfever. The day ended with a swift half and a meal in the Angel Inn and Long Ashton. My veggie burger turned out to be a slice of red pepper and a huge piece of goatscheese  - not good!
